Vitamin And Mineral Supplements Interaction With Seroquel
The majority of mineral supplements are made from chemicals rather than natural substances which is a kind of contradictory approach to the whole issue. But the increasing demand for natural vitamin supplements looks like a trend growing with little help. The debate however, is ongoing as people wonder whether putting chemicals into one’s body is good or bad.
It is a fact that normal food particles are ore easily absorbed by our body than chemical vitamin minerals. The industry in turn strives constantly to produce products beneficial and easily processed by the body. Industry constantly innovates and produces new ‘more bio-available’ forms of minerals and vitamins. Many mineral vitamins have been developed, combining elements that permit them to be readily absorbed by the body. Iron gluconate is a combined form of iron which the body is able to absorb easily.
Within a mineral vitamin supplement, the amount of nutrients that are found need to be much greater than what it would be if it was in a more natural form so that the body is able to absorb the amount that is being required. However, this could also result in larger quantities of the mineral being absorbed than is needed resulting in toxic levels. This is why it is so important that one must consult with a health professional before ingesting large quantities of supplements touted in advertisements. One should, however, be aware that the industry is constantly improving and developing better and newer combinations of mineral vitamin supplements.
One method that manufacturers have developed to help aid absorption is through culturing the raw materials with yeast cells. This kind of supplements, referred to as ‘food state’, is four times easier to be absorbed by the body as the yeast is biological and can be fully digested.
The person’s diet also dictates the need for mineral vitamin supplements. Whenever possible, it is best to obtain one’s nutrients from regular balanced diets versus supplements. A person may need to take mineral vitamin supplements during certain periods for a short time. Long term use of supplements is not recommended.
